Spain’s under-15 side claimed the first-ever FIFA U-15 World Cup title after a 3-0 win over Czechia in the final, played at Baku Crystal Hall. The Spanish team scored three unanswered goals to secure a decisive victory over their opponents.
The result made Spain the first country to be crowned champion of the newly launched FIFA U-15 World Cup.
Young players from 189 national football associations affiliated with FIFA gathered in Baku for the tournament. One of its distinctive features was that it combined an official championship with a large-scale football festival.
