Azerbaijan’s State Tax Service, operating under the Ministry of Economy, transferred 16.065 billion manats in tax revenue to the state budget in January-October 2026. The figure exceeds the forecast by 1.274 billion manats.

According to the State Tax Service’s results, tax revenue collected for the state budget rose by 1.687 billion manats, or 11.7%, compared with the same period last year. The main driver of this growth in tax revenue was activity outside the oil and gas sector.

Unemployment and medical insurance contributions also beat targets

Unemployment insurance payments collected during the reporting period amounted to around 201.5 million manats, exceeding the forecast by 8.3 million manats. Of this sum, 156.5 million manats came from off-budget organizations.

Mandatory medical insurance contributions totaled more than 849.3 million manats, surpassing the planned amount by 20.4 million manats. Off-budget organizations’ contribution to this category stood at around 570.9 million manats.
