President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree approving the regulations for the Electronic Registry and Cadastre of Real Estate information system. The decree designates the system’s owner and operator.
Under the decree, the State Service for Property Issues under Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy will act as the owner of the Electronic Registry and Cadastre of Real Estate information system, known by its Azerbaijani acronym DERKIS.
The system’s operator will be the State Register and Cadastre of Real Estate public legal entity, which operates under the State Service for Property Issues.
The decree instructs Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers to resolve issues arising from the document.
