Average monthly nominal wages for salaried employees in Azerbaijan reached 1,173 manats in January-August, up 7.2% from the same period last year.
The average monthly wage figure comes from data released by Azerbaijan’s State Statistics Committee. According to the committee, salaried workers in the country earned an average of 1,173 manats a month during the first eight months of the year.
The figure is 7.2% higher than the average monthly wage recorded in January-August of last year, the committee said. Wage growth has therefore continued through the first eight months of this year.
