Azerbaijan is showcasing its literary heritage at a dedicated national stand at the 78th Frankfurt International Book Fair in Germany, running from October 7-11.
According to Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture, the national stand at the Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse 2026) was organized jointly by the Ministry of Culture and the Azerbaijani Cultural Center in Berlin. The stand displays book samples reflecting the country’s ancient history and literary heritage.
Azerbaijan is represented at the fair by a delegation of writers and publishing industry representatives. The ministry said the national stand drew strong interest from numerous local and foreign visitors on opening day, many of whom examined the publications on display.
Alongside the exhibition, talks have been held between foreign publishing representatives and the Azerbaijani side on copyright issues and potential future cooperation.
