Azeripek OJSC’s foreign sales reached $300,000 in January-August 2026, three times higher than in the same period last year.
According to an export review compiled by the Center for Analysis and Communication of Economic Reforms, the company’s foreign sales stood at $100,000 in the corresponding period of 2025. That means the figure rose by $200,000, or 200%, over the year.
Since the absolute figure is still relatively small, the sharp percentage growth should not be directly compared with the performance of large exporting companies. Even so, the near-tripling of exports is seen as a positive sign that the company is strengthening its position in foreign markets.
Azeripek OJSC was established in 2018 and produces silk, raw silk, textiles and dyeing products in Shaki. Its output is mainly shipped to markets in Russia, Turkey and Iran.
