On October 14, 2026, Improtex Group opened BMW Motorrad’s 7th motorcycle store in Baku.
Riders, motorcycle enthusiasts, bloggers and well-known figures were invited to the opening. Fun games with prizes were held for the guests.
Maryam Alakbarova opened the event by welcoming the guests and giving an overview of BMW Motorrad stores.
Roman Schabad, Regional Manager of BMW Motorrad, then spoke about the brand’s expectations for the Azerbaijani market.
After the speech, the guests toured the new store together with Fuzuli Alekperov, founder of Improtex Group.
BMW Motorrad worldwide
In 2025, BMW Motorrad delivered 202,563 motorcycles to customers worldwide, passing the 200,000 mark for the fourth consecutive year. According to the company, BMW Motorrad maintained its leading position in the premium segment.
Germany was the brand’s largest single market last year with 25,516 motorcycles. Outside Europe, the USA (14,869), Brazil (14,488) and China (10,555) were among its main markets. The best-selling models were the R 1300 GS Adventure (33,570) and the R 1300 GS (32,555).
