Azerbaijan’s draft 2027 state budget, reviewed by a parliamentary committee, proposes raising the one-off childbirth benefit to 1,500 manats, up from the current 600 manats.
The childbirth benefit in Azerbaijan could rise to 1,500 manats in 2027 from the current 600 manats, an increase of 900 manats. The change is part of the draft law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027.”
The proposal was examined at a meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship. Since the draft still has to pass through other stages of parliamentary review, the figures could change before final approval.
