Azerbaijani banks received 133.1 million manats through fast money transfer systems in August, almost half the amount recorded a month earlier.
Azerbaijani banks received 133.1 million manats in August 2026 through fast money transfer systems, across 221,200 transactions, according to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
The figure is down 115.5 million manats, or 46.5%, from July, when the same systems channeled 248.6 million manats into the country through 277,400 transactions.
The central bank also noted that inflows were down compared with the same month last year. Outbound fast transfers from Azerbaijan also declined over the period, it said.
