Azerbaijan expects natural gas production to reach 16.3 billion cubic meters next year, 239.2 million cubic meters more than this year’s forecast. The projection is contained in the draft budget for 2027.
According to the budget document, gas output is set to grow by 1.5% in 2027. The draft also forecasts a rise in diesel fuel production, which is expected to increase by 115,400 tons, or 5%.
The document also says an expansion in VAT-taxable turnover is expected to create additional tax liabilities.
