Azerbaijan’s U-15 national team beat Andorra 1-0 in their second match at the FIFA World Championship and Festival, keeping their unbeaten record intact.
The match was played on October 25 at the Hovsan Training Complex, with Hasan Mahmadov scoring the only goal for the Azerbaijan U-15 national team.
Azerbaijan Football Federations Association (AFFA) president Rovshan Najaf and other officials of the organisation watched the game from the stadium. Following the win, AFFA’s leadership congratulated the players.
In their opening match of the tournament, Azerbaijan’s U-15 side had thrashed Timor-Leste 6-0. The team remains unbeaten after two games.
Azerbaijan will play their next tournament match against Australia at the Hovsan Training Complex.
