A shooting at a residential property in Erie, Pennsylvania, left nine people dead, including two children, police said.
The Erie, Pennsylvania shooting took place on the evening of October 9. According to the Associated Press, police responded to reports of gunfire at the address and found multiple bodies in and around the house.
Investigators confirmed that the suspected shooter was among those killed. ABC News reported that the suspect died by suicide after shooting himself.
The motive behind the shooting has not yet been disclosed. The identities of the victims have also not been officially released as the investigation continues.
Erie police said no further shots were fired after officers arrived at the scene. Officials stressed there is no ongoing threat to residents.
