Car owners who meet certain conditions will be able to receive a 5% discount on their compulsory insurance premium each time. To qualify, no accident caused by the driver’s fault that resulted in an insurance payout must have been recorded in the previous 275 days.
The compulsory insurance discount is tied to the insurance history coefficient and requires two conditions to be met at the same time. First, no incident resulting in an insurance payout due to the fault of the individual must have occurred since the coefficient was last changed. Second, the insured period since that date must exceed 275 days.
If both conditions are satisfied, a 5% discount is applied to the coefficient each time, regardless of how many compulsory insurance contracts the driver currently holds.
The rule is slightly different for legal entities that operate their vehicles as taxis. In this case, the accident-related condition applies directly to the driver, meaning no insurance payout must have occurred due to that driver’s fault since the last change.
In other cases — where the vehicle owner is a legal entity and the vehicle is not used for passenger transport — the insurance history coefficient remains fixed at 1. In such cases, neither a discount nor a surcharge is applied to the coefficient.
